Come meet me THIS Saturday at the PetSmart on CarMia Way off Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond's Southside from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Applications can be found at www.southsidespca.org under the "Adoptions" tab. Trucker is a victim of cruelty. His owner dumped him and two other dogs on the side of the highway, near our shelter, with only a small pile of dog food. He pulled away, leaving them to dodge the passing trucks, without so much as a backwards glance. Lucky for Trucker and the others, a volunteer just happened by and saw everything. Gentle coaxing and kind words helped bring these poor dogs to safety. Trucker is a sweet boy that is about 2 years old and 50lbs. He is great with other dogs and is affectionate and gentle with people. He will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family. Trucker deserves a second chance at a good home!
