She is a normal dog in so many ways, but she sadly was run over by her former owners and as a result suffers from a neurological disorder that affects her gait. Her gait is exaggerated and she can't always judge correctly, which causes her to bump in to items. Otherwise, she is a healthy an fully functioning pup! Joys ordeal has left her very unsure about new people, and will require someone willing and able to give her unlimited time to adjust. She will not instantly bond with some people (others she loves right away!) and it will be a challenge at times. She will make a wonderful companion for some patient person willing to give her the time and tools to acclimate. She doesn't want to be pitied, only treated like any other dog. Could you open your home and offer this most deserving girl a second chance...a chance to be part of a real family?
