Black Labrador Retriever - Shadow - Large - Adult - Female - Dog
Shadow is about 7 years old and has called the shelter home for the last 6 years. When she was dumped at the shelter years ago she was very fearful and had obviously never had positive human contact. The last few years there has been major progress in her demeanor...though she can still be unsure in new circumstances, she now enjoys her walks by volunteers, snuggles by shelter workers and the company of the other dogs. Given a chance, Shadow will continue to come out of her shell. She needs the love and attention that could only happen in a home setting with a dedicated person willing to give her the time.
